Group plans to protest Seminole County mask mandate

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Local organizers took to social media to plan a protest against the recent face mask mandate in Seminole County.

The mandate, which is set to take effect Wednesday, was issued on Monday.

According to a Facebook post, the group plans to meet in Sanford at 4 p.m. at 117 Magnolia Avenue in an effort to get answers from county officials.

The current mandate requires employees and customers to wear a face covering if they go into an establishment where they may not be able to be six feet apart.
