“People who are sworn to vote for the person in their party,” Mitchell says.
Since Trump won Florida, all 29 electors are Republicans who voted for Trump, including Brevard County Rep. Randy Fine.
“You get to be a part of history, and I’m honored to have been asked to do it,” Rep. Fine says.
While Florida was voting, 49 other states- as well as the District of Columbia- were doing the same.

In a ceremonial gesture, Georgia Republicans met and selected an unofficial slate of electors, but that state’s election results have already been certified for Joe Biden.
All that’s left is for a joint session of Congress to accept the results in January, officially ending the 2020 Presidential election.
