Incumbent Osceola County Sheriff Gibson loses primary election

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Osceola County will soon have a new Sheriff as incumbent Russ Gibson lost his primary election Tuesday to former Osceola County deputy Marco Lopez.

Lopez won the election by more than 400 votes.

He’ll face Independent candidate Luis Fernandez in the November General election.
