LONGWOOD, Fla. — Seminole County sheriff's deputies said a 15-year-old girl helped them catch a woman on an alleged burglary spree in Longwood.
Deputies said Sheri Buholtz-Brownlow, 34, has been on a six-week spree near Wekiva Cove Road.
Fifteen-year-old Brianna told 911 dispatchers that a woman tried to walk into her house while she was home alone Wednesday morning.

"It was just a woman and she started to like, open my door and I pushed it shut," Brianna said.
In the 911 call Brianna made to dispatchers, she said that the woman said she would come back later.
Brianna said she came downstairs when the doorbell rang and that she saw the woman through the peephole. She said she went under the doormat and then pushed the door open.
"It was open about 3 or 4 inches, and then I just pushed it closed," Brianna said.
Brianna said as Buholtz-Brownlow walked away she called her mother, Tina, who had briefly stepped out before calling 911 and telling dispatchers someone tried to break into her home.
"This is every mother's worst nightmare," Tina said.
Seminole County investigators said the description Brianna provided to deputies allowed them to identify Buholtz-Brownlow and arrest her before she left the area.
Detectives said Buholtz-Brownlow is linked to several other burglaries in the area where she stole thousands in jewelry and cash.
"It scares people and it just makes us not feel safe anymore," Tina said.
Tina said she was thankful her daughter did exactly what she was supposed to do but that she now has to work to get her family's security back.
