DELAND, Fla. — A man accused of shooting three people in DeLand, including two innocent bystanders, remains at large, according to authorities.
Investigators said a case of road rage sparked gunfire that sent bullets flying into a nearby block party.
DeLand police said someone rear-ended Clayton Lowery’s Buick Regal at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday on Valleydale Avenue.
Detectives said Lowery got out of his car and began arguing with the other person, and they both started shooting.
Lowery was shot to death, police said. %

Police said a stray bullet hit and killed Victor Small, who was standing nearby.
Another bullet wounded a man who was attending a nearby block party.
Police do not believe that either victim had anything to do with the initial confrontation.
Detectives said they are tracking down several leads in an effort to find the gunman.
“We have dedicated all of our resources to the case and we are going to find this person and bring them to justice,” said Chris Graham of the DeLand Police Department.

Jones, who moved to the neighborhood four months ago to escape violence, said it's time to move again.
"(I thought I was) getting away from the shootings in Seminole County," the young mother said. "And I came right back to them."
Jones told Channel 9 that she was invited to the gathering, which neighbors said attracted more than 100 people.
"It is very sad that nobody can have fun without anybody getting shot," she said.
Descriptions of the accused gunman and his vehicle have not been released.
