ORLANDO, Fla. — An Orange County Islamic center is on high alert following an incident where two strangers allegedly trespassed.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said there wasn’t an incident report from Monday night, but a spokesperson said deputies did issue trespass citations.

Leaders at the Islamic Center of Orlando on Ruby Lake Road were concerned enough to post a message about the incident on the center’s website.

The massage said that at about 10:45 p.m. Monday, two people caused a security concern and that deputies were called.

Center leaders said after deputies issued trespass citations to two people, they came back.

They said the center’s security team was able to control the situation and there was a security vehicle there Tuesday afternoon.

The website's message also said there weren’t any weapons taken into the center or found near the center.

It’s still not clear what the people did to spark the concern.

No other details were released.
