ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A second University of Central Florida student has been arrested in connection with the hacking of an engineering professor's office computer to change his grades.
Samuel Williams, 25, is accused of changing grades on four online quizzes that he never completed, investigators said.
Williams and Sami Ammar, 21, are accused of hacking into the computer on May 4, at about 11:30 p.m.
The investigation into the change started when the pair's professor was notified by the school’s computer system that his class roster had been submitted a second time.
UCF student Sam Sansone was glad that the two alleged hackers were having to face the consequences of their actions.
"They should get kicked out, or the highest punishment, because that's just kind of, it's just not showing good characteristics," Sansone said.
Individuals at Williams' home refused to comment on the arrest.
