ORLANDO, Fla. — Three teenagers were arrested after they broke into a woman's home while she was inside, police said.

Orlando police arrested Jamari Darby, 17, Dave Reed, 16, and Xavier Bradley, 14. All three are facing felony charges, police said.

Channel 9’s Julie Salomone spoke with the victim about what she said happened Tuesday inside her home on West Livingston Street.

The 18-year-old victim, who didn’t want to be identified, said she’s still shaken from the ordeal.

“The minute I knew something was happening was when I heard the glass door break,” she said.

According to a police report, the victim heard knocking on her front door at about 12:30 p.m.

She said she didn’t answer because she was scared.

She heard the suspects forcing open the back door and then heard male voices inside her house.

The victim hid in the bathroom and called 911. The call lasted about nine minutes, and she said help arrived just in time.

“I was so scared. I couldn’t talk. I even lowered the volume on the phone so they wouldn’t hear the phone,” she said.

Officers said they caught the teens loading stolen items into a car.

“Two of them were apprehended right away. One ran and was apprehended by another officer not far away,” said Officer Michelle Guido.

Guido said the teens took laptops and big-screen televisions. Officers were able to retrieve the items and get them back to the victim.
