VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla.,None — An accused boat thief who tried to evade deputies by skinny dipping through a lake remains at the Volusia County Jail Tuesday.
Officials said Darrel Horne and Matthew Shrider took a boat from a dock on Lake Botts Friday afternoon.
When deputies arrived on scene, Shrider obeyed commands, but Horne decided to take off his clothes and dive into the lake.
When he was caught, he even dared officers to shock him with a Taser, and later thanked them for doing so, according to deputies.
