Afternoon storms chances stay active Thursday in Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. — A summer-like afternoon storm pattern continues in Central Florida.

A passing shower will be possible Thursday morning and even more likely in the afternoon.

Our area will have a 70% chance of seeing rain and storms Thursday.

The rain chances will stick around through the weekend but will slowly decrease as we head into Sunday.

All of this rain activity is being fueled by a low-pressure system in the Gulf that could show tropical development as it moves around Florida.
