All state-owned bridges reopened after Hurricane Isaias inspections

Governor Ron DeSantis announced that all state road bridges have reopened for travel following the hurricane

ORLANDO, Fla. — Gov. Ron DeSantis announced during a morning news conference that all state road bridges are open and clear for travel following the hurricane.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced that all state-owned bridges had reopened by 6:00 AM on Saturday, after inspections following Hurricane Isaias’s landfall in the Florida Panhandle.

Local officials said inspectors completed safety evaluations, allowing traffic to return to normal operations across all major spans.

Drivers should continue to use caution, check local traffic updates and watch for lingering debris on roads leading to and from bridges.
