SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — A woman broke her leg when it got stuck between the steps of an escalator at the Altamonte Springs Mall.
Fire rescue officials said the 65-year-old La'Vonne Thrasher's pant leg got caught in the escalator and she became trapped as the stairs continued to move.
Thrasher was hospitalized and is expected to be OK.
