PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — Coral Springs police say they found a missing 1-month-old dead in the trunk of a car and his father is in custody.
Lt. Joe McHugh says the body was found Friday afternoon, hours after an Amber Alert was issued for Josiah Saintil, who turns 2 months old next week.
McHugh says the child's father, 24-year-old Janus Saintil, is being held. Charges were not immediately filed and no further information has been released.
State officials said in the alert that Janus Saintil was considered armed and dangerous. He was traveling with the child in a 2008, black Kia Spectra.
