SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Health Department officials said they have confirmed a second case of Measles in Seminole County.
According to officials, this is the second report of Measles in less than a month in Seminole County.
The new case of Measles was confirmed in a 39-year-old man. The man is the husband of the woman who was first diagnosed with the disease last month, officials said.
Officials are taking extra precautions and conducting routine checks for any other potential cases of the disease. Officials are also urging any unvaccinated individuals to get a Measles vaccine.
Both the man and his wife have recovered from the disease, according to officials. The couple had traveled outside of the country prior to being diagnosed with Measles, officials said.
