DELTONA, Fla. — Deputies are investigating after shots were fired inside a home on Saxton Boulevard late Thursday night, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. during an argument in the kitchen, deputies said.
The suspect fired approximately three to five shots, according to investigators.
Two people were inside the home and were not struck or injured.
The gunman then fled the scene.
Deputies surrounded the home as a precaution while they investigated.
The Sheriff’s Office said it does not believe there is a threat to the community.
The investigation remains ongoing.
