, Fla. — Port Orange police and Southeast Volusia SWAT are responding to an armed barricade situation in the Deep Forest neighborhood, according to officials and crews on the scene.
Negotiators are working to bring the situation to a peaceful resolution.
The incident is centered in the area of Tall Pine Drive and Timber Wood Drive. Multiple law-enforcement agencies, including the Port Orange Police Department and Southeast Volusia SWAT, are on scene.
Channel 9 crews are working to gather more information about what led to the barricade, whether anyone has been injured, and whether nearby residents have been asked to shelter in place.
