ORLANDO, Fla. — Florida students planning to attend college, university, or a career and technical education program should remember that the deadline to submit the Florida Financial Aid Application is August 31.
By doing so, they’ll have a great chance to be considered for a Bright Futures Scholarship.
Funded by the Florida Lottery, the Bright Futures Scholarship Program rewards students for academic achievement and community involvement while helping make higher education and career training more affordable.

“Back to school season marks the beginning of new opportunities for students across our state,” Florida Lottery Secretary Reginald D. Dixon said. “We advise every student to learn more about the program and understand the requirements they must meet to receive a Bright Futures Scholarship.”.
