DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Police are responding to an active scene involving a barricaded subject and reports of shots fired in Daytona Beach.

According to authorities, the incident is unfolding in the 600 block of South Ridgewood Avenue. Officials said very limited information was available as of Monday.

Authorities have not released details about the barricaded subject, the reported gunfire, or whether anyone has been injured.
