APOPKA, Fla. — Bojangles has opened a new restaurant in Apopka, expanding the Carolina-based chicken and biscuit chain’s presence in Central Florida.
The restaurant opened at 5 a.m. Tuesday at 3050 State Road 436.
To celebrate the opening, Bojangles gave the first 50 dine-in customers $100 gift cards. The company is also offering 10 customers a chance to win free breakfast for a year through an opening promotion.
“This opening is about more than just great Bojangles chicken and biscuits — it’s a celebration of the people of Apopka,” Bojangles CEO Jose Armario said.
Bojangles continues Central Florida expansion
The Apopka restaurant is Bojangles’ seventh location in the Orlando-Daytona Beach-Melbourne market. The chain also operates restaurants in communities including Sanford, Clermont and Kissimmee.
Bojangles was founded in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1977 and now has more than 890 company-owned and franchised restaurants across 24 states.
The chain is known for hand-breaded chicken, biscuits and sweet tea.
