So far, more than 103,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Brevard County.
“We’re now in our third week where we’ve gotten 3,500 doses of the Moderna vaccine, which is the two shot requirement,” said Don Walker with Brevard County. “And this week, we received roughly 4,500 Johnson & Johnson vaccines.”
With Gov. Ron DeSantis close to lowering the age of eligibility for the vaccine to 60 years and older for the rest of the public, Brevard County is encouraging residents to be ready.
