Cargo Dragon launch cargo includes power boost to ISS

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — An uncrewed SpaceX Cargo Dragon is on its way to the International Space Station after a successful launch Thursday from the Kennedy Space Center.

That Dragon is carrying more than 7,000 pounds of hardware and supplies.

This delivery will also provide a power boost to the space station.

That’s because this cargo delivery includes a pair of new solar arrays to upgrade the station’s power system.
