WATCH: SpaceX launches 10th batch of Starlink satellites

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — SpaceX launched its 10th batch of Starlink satellites early Friday.

The launch is part of the company's project to build a global internet network.

The mission launched 57 Starlink satellites and delivered two spacecrafts for BlackSky Global, a company that specializes in Earth observation satellites.

The rocketed lifted off at 1:12 a.m. Friday.

SpaceX launched its Starship prototype from a stand Tuesday in Boca Chica, Texas. The spacecraft ascended 500 feet before landing on a nearby pad. Click here to watch video of that.

That vehicle will someday carry cargo and crew to the Moon and Mars.

SpaceX completed its demonstration flight to the International Space Station on Sunday, with NASA astronauts Bob Henken and Doug Hurley safely returning to Earth. Click here to watch the historic splashdown.
