FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Investigative Services Division Chief Augie Rodriguez has graduated from the FBI Florida Executive Development Seminar Session XXVII.
The seminar took place in Destin from Sept. 13-18.
The training program was established by the FBI to provide executive and management instruction to Florida police chiefs, sheriffs, and command staff. The 40-hour course covers topics including leadership, management, ethics, and dealing with the news media.
Rodriguez joined the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office in 2012 and has 16 years of law enforcement experience. In 2025, he was promoted to division chief of the Investigative Services Division. The division oversees criminal intelligence, crime scene investigations, cybercrimes, problem-area crime enforcement, homeland security, evidence, school resource deputies, and the agency’s Real-Time Crime Center.
Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly commended Rodriguez for completing the program. “The Florida Executive Development Seminar is a focused, week-long course that not only covers law enforcement best practices but also provides leaders with networking opportunities to enhance leadership skills, foster collaboration, and strengthen partnerships to help improve public safety across our state,” Staly said. “We are proud of Chief Rodriguez and appreciate our partnership with the FBI and the FBINAA.”
