The city of Winter Park may buy the Winter Park Playhouse property as a way to keep the professional theater company in the space.

Landlord Winter Park Mercantile Investment Properties has put the property on the market for $4.25 million, which means the Winter Park Playhouse may have to move after the building is sold.
The property last traded hands in 1978 for roughly $98,000.
