OCALA, Fla. — The College of Central Florida is inviting the community to get an up-close look at agriculture during a free Field Day at its 103-acre working farm.
The event will run from noon to 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at the college’s Center for Agricultural Innovation at Vintage Farm campus in Ocala.
Visitors can drop in throughout the afternoon to explore the farm, meet students and faculty and learn about CF’s agriculture and equine programs.
The event will include live demonstrations with livestock and agriculture drones, along with opportunities to learn about agricultural careers and connect with industry organizations.
Organizers said the event is open to everyone, including families and people interested in seeing how the working farm operates.
The farm campus is located at 4020 S.E. Third Ave. in Ocala. Admission is free.
