OCALA, Fla. — The College of Central Florida officially opened its new Center for Career Development Tuesday at its Ocala campus.
The college said the center will provide students with career exploration tools, networking opportunities with local employers and connections to internships.
CF said students will also be able to use virtual reality headsets to explore careers and practice job skills in fields including health sciences and advanced manufacturing.
The college said the center also includes space for employer meetings and mock interviews, as well as a professional clothing closet that provides students with free attire for job interviews.
CF said students and alumni will also have access to Handshake, a career platform connecting them with employers offering jobs and internships.
