Cities, counties provide sandbags for residents ahead of Tropical Storm Colin

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Lion’s Club president Sandy Hutchings said about two feet of water washed into the club two years ago, causing $10,000 in damage.

Ormond Beach: 10 bags, Public Works Department, 501 N. Orchard Street, until 6 p.m. Monday

Orange City: 10 bags, Waggin’ Trail Dog Park, 1201 S. Leavitt Ave., 1-3 p.m. Monday

Seminole County Sandbag Operations: 30 bags, next door to Fire Station 35, 4170 N. U.S. Highway 17-92, Sanford, open throughout the day Monday

Osceola County: No longer distributing sand bags

New Smyrna Beach: 20 bags, New Smyrna Beach Maintenance Operations Department, 124 Industrial Park Ave., from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday

Volusia County: No information available
