OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Two people were arrested Thursday after allegedly tying up and beating a couple with a metal bar inside an Osceola County motel room Wednesday night, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded Thursday to the Siesta Motor Inn at 4657 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway.
Investigators said a man and a woman were tied up inside their room and beaten by another couple during a dispute over money.
The attackers then took money, phones and jewelry from both victims.
Detectives located the suspects at the Siesta Motor Inn and arrested them.
The suspects were identified as 38-year-old Glorimar Ramos-Pagon and 37-year-old Salvi Sola-Torres.
Both Ramos-Pagon and Sola-Torres were booked into the Osceola County Jail on charges of battery and false imprisonment or kidnapping.
Sola-Torres was also charged with violation of probation for possession of fentanyl.
