VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — The southbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Volusia County were all closed following an accident with injuries, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers and rescue workers are on the scene of the accident, which happened south of State Road 44 at mile marker 246.
A medical helicopter has landed at the scene.
Around 3:30 p.m. troopers began moving traffic along the shoulder of the road, past the accident scene. A short time later one lane was reopened.
