SANFORD, Fla. — Detectives in Sanford are conducting a death investigation following an incident near the 400 block of Tangelo Dr.

In an update, authorities said the investigation remains active and that there is no threat to the public.

“Our detectives are now conducting a death investigation. This remains an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public,” authorities said in a statement.

Officials have said the investigation is ongoing and that no additional information is available at this time.
