ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Three people were shot late Sunday, one fatally, at a condominium complex, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.

Residents reported hearing gunfire shortly before 11:15 p.m. at the Commodore Place condominiums on Honour Road near Rio Grande Avenue, Orange County Lt. Darryl Blanford said.

Deputies found a man believed to be between 20 and 30 years old fatally shot in the parking lot, and a 19-year-old man, who had also been shot, lying next to him, Blanford said.

Investigators said another 19-year-old man was found about 25 yards away with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

The two surviving victims were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

"At a nearby crime scene in the complex, an unoccupied Infiniti SUV with multiple bullet holes was located that appeared to have recklessly struck several (residents') vehicles in the complex before coming to a stop," Blanford said.

Alexandra Keaton told Channel 9 that she heard gunfire moments after her boyfriend walked out of their home.

"I heard gunshots, so I'm like, 'He just left. I am going to call him,'" she said. "I was calling him, but he never answered. So that just spooked me."

Keaton said she ran outside to check on her boyfriend.

"I ran out and I saw him," she said. "He was on the floor crying and gasping for breath, and he was asking the police officers to help him up."

Keaton said the couple has a 2-year-old daughter and another child on the way.

"It was very terrifying," she said. "I almost went into labor, but I didn't, thank God."

None of the people involved were publicly identified.

The shooting remains under investigation.

No other details were given.
