Deputies await autopsy results after couple found dead in home

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla.,None — Deputies said they are waiting on autopsy results to determine how a couple died after their bodies  were found inside their Orange County home on Monday.

Distraught family members raced to the home on Kenlyn Court where 27-year-old Vionna Lanier and her boyfriend, 35-year-old Juan Jackson, were found dead,  deputies said.

The discovery was made by a concerned brother who arrived at his sister's home only to find her dead, along with her long-time boyfriend, investigators said.

"He immediately called 911 and advised us of the circumstances and exited the house when deputies arrived on scene," said Capt. Angelo Nieves of the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Neighbors said they were shocked and that they didn't hear anything unusual coming from the house in the past few days.

"It does concern me especially if there's foul play involved. But, I haven't heard anything out of the ordinary in the past couple of days," said neighbor Janeisha Foster.

WFTV found out Jackson has done prison time for gun charges, drug offenses, grand theft, and even accessory to murder.

"Again, we don't want to make any pre-judgments on the situation inside the residence," said Nieves.

Investigators did not say how long it's been since anyone saw the couple, but did say only the two of them lived in the home, and there no children in the residence.

“We're trying to determine the circumstances, what occurred, if any of the neighbors heard or saw anything to provide us with information,” said Nieves.

Deputies said they haven't had any recent calls to the residence, but said they responded to a disturbance in June of 2010. Investigators did not say if that call involved the couple at the center of the county's latest death investigation.
