Three Shot in Northwest Ocala Prompts Detective Investigation

MARION OCUNTY, Fla. — The Marion County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Jan. 25 at 5:30 p.m., deputies responded to a shooting on NW 90th Street in Ocala. Three adults—two males and one female—were shot and are in stable condition at a local hospital.

Law enforcement states that an investigation showed a large group was gathered at the scene when the shots were fired. By the time law enforcement arrived, much of the crowd had left, hindering the investigation.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting on Sunday in Northwest Ocala.

At approximately 5:30 p.m., deputies were called to the 2800 block of NW 90th Street, where they found three victims of gunshot wounds.

The victims were transported to a local hospital, where they are getting treatment.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and MCSO is asking for anyone with information to contact them.
