BUSHNELL, Fla. — A 21-year-old Wildwood man accused of killing a 35-year-old woman and dumping her body in a roadway was arrested Sunday afternoon at a home in Bushnell, the Sumter County Sheriff's Office said.
Investigators received a tip at about 3:15 p.m. that Terrance Kwamaine Williams was at a home on North Rosewood Street south of East Noble Avenue, Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Michelle Keszey said.
Deputies and the SWAT team surrounded the home, where they could hear men talking, so they used a PA system to order them out of the home, Keszey said.
Investigators said Williams was wanted in the murder of Barbara Lynn Grubb, whose body was found lying in the middle of County Road 231 on Feb. 12.
