Her name is Elena of Avalor and she’s set to debut next year.
The character is a compassionate teenager in an enchanted fairytale kingdom.
Disney hopes that her story inspired the worldwide population of Hispanic and Latino families.
The new princess will have her own series on Disney Junior.
