DOJ to mobilize strike teams to go after COVID-19-related fraud

ORLANDO, Fla. — The Department of Justice says some big cities will soon have strike teams to fight COVID-19-related fraud.

The DOJ said it has seized more than $1.2 billion in relief funds since the beginning of the pandemic.

Some of the money seized has been in Central Florida.

One of the teams will operate out of South Florida.
