ST. CLOUD, Fla. — Ducks are flocking to a St. Cloud neighborhood, and some drivers told Channel 9's Sarahbeth Ackerman that they're upset with the ducks blocking the busy roads.

Others have vowed to take care of the ducks.

Judy Willhelm put up homemade signs on 10th Street asking drivers to slow down because of the wildlife.

Willhelm told Eyewitness News that she's been watching over at least a dozen ducks, giving them seeds and water.

"They are here whether we take care of them or not,” Willhelm said.

Neighbors and drivers took to Facebook to tell people to stop feeding the ducks. They said that because the animals are always in the road, it’s an accident waiting to happen.

"So I guess the question is, do we want to live and cohabitate peacefully, or do we want to act like jerks and let people drive 40 to 45 mph and kill them?” Willhelm said.

A spokesperson for the city of St. Cloud told Eyewitness News that officials are looking into the duck issue.
