Duke Energy to provide extra safety training following employee's death

ORLANDO, Fla. — Duke Energy will provide additional safety training and inspections to keep employees safe, following the death of an employee last year.

Chris Dasher, 35, was shocked while working with a line in Marion County in October, and later died from his injuries.

Duke reached a settlement with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), agreeing to pay $35,000 in fines and provide extra precautions.
