ORLANDO, Fla. — Edouard is finally winding down, but the system is still delivering rainfall across parts of Texas.

The former tropical system has weakened to a remnant low, marking another step in its gradual end.

Despite losing its tropical characteristics, Edouard continues to produce rain across Texas.

Beyond Edouard, the tropics remain unusually quiet.

No tropical development is expected over the next seven days, giving residents across the region a break from watching for new systems.
