SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — The ex-girlfriend of a man who investigators said killed his estranged wife, their two children and himself last month in a crime spree that spread across Seminole County, described her own volatile relationship with the man to detectives.
Giselle Acosta told detectives in a recorded interview that Henry Brown pulled her hair and fought with her in public.

Henry Brown’s wife, Chericia Brown, also suffered severe abuse leading up to her death, when investigators said Henry Brown stabbed her 15 times in a Chili’s parking lot before running her over with a truck.
Henry Brown went on to pick up his children from a babysitter’s house, engage in a shootout with police at a hospital, and then shot his two children ad himself.
“I was always scared, because, you know, we had our physical, so I didn’t really know what he was capable of,” said Acosta.

Two days after the triple-murder-suicide, Acosta told detectives that Henry Brown asked her to kill Chericia Brown.
“He said he didn’t want her in the picture. He just, he told me he just wanted it to be him, me and the kids,” she said.
Henry Brown’s volatile behavior started last fall when Chericia Brown found out about the affair with Acosta.
“Her denying him, and denying him, you know, gets him very upset,” Acosta said.
When Chericia Brown asked for a divorce and got an injunction, Henry Brown broke up with Acosta.
“He told me he wanted to get his family back, and how can he get his family back,” Acosta said.
Henry Brown later saw his wife with another man and nearly a week later, Henry Brown murdered his entire family.
“He seemed like a really good guy and he was always talking about them, and that is why I’m shocked about what happened,” Acosta said.
