FHP arrests ‘Most Wanted Fugitive’ in 2024 Osceola County triple-fatal crash

Troopers say Jean Dorisca faces three counts of vehicular homicide after being located in Boca Raton

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A man wanted for more than two years in connection with a crash that killed three people, including his mother, has been arrested, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Jean S. Dorisca, 48, was taken into custody Thursday in Boca Raton on an Osceola County warrant for three counts of vehicular homicide.

The charges stem from a July 16, 2024, crash on State Road 60 near the Polk-Osceola County line.

According to FHP, Dorisca attempted to pass a semi-truck in a no-passing zone and collided with oncoming traffic. Three people were killed in the crash.

FHP said Dorisca had evaded arrest and was later designated as one of the agency’s most wanted fugitives.

Investigators located him at a Boca Raton residence Wednesday. Troopers returned the next day and arrested him without incident.

Dorisca was booked into the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center and remains in custody pending his return to Osceola County.

FHP said he faces up to 45 years in state prison if convicted.
