PINE HILLS, Fla. — One man is dead and another injured after a Lynx bus hit their moped in Pine Hills early Saturday, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash occurred as the Lynx bus made a left turn off Pine Hills Road onto Indian Hill Road a little before 12:45 a.m., clipping the moped and throwing the two riders from it.
The bus driver was unable to see the moped because it did not have headlights on, troopers said.

Troopers are trying to identify the men riding on the moped, who did not have identification on them.
The bus driver, a 10-year veteran, passed an on-site drug/alcohol test and is now on standard paid administrative leave, Lynx said.
Lynx hadn’t had a fatal accident since 2010.
