ORLANDO, Fla. — A driver was arrested following a fatal crash on World Trade Center Drive near SR-535 Monday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said Alejandro Correa, 20, was drunk when he crashed into a car in front of him at a red light, just after 12:30 a.m. Monday.
A passenger in the other car, Giselle Batista, 24, died. Benjamin Frias, 30, who was also in the second car, was critically injured.
Correa was charged with DUI manslaughter and booked into the Orange County Jail, said FHP.
