BUNNELL, Fla. — Edward G. Sampson, a 32-year-old Bunnell man, was arrested on a felony warrant following a narcotics investigation by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies discovered methamphetamine and oxycodone pills during his arrest, which occurred while Sampson was out on bond for a previous drug case. The warrant was issued after an Aug. 26 search of Sampson’s home on South Church Street in Bunnell.
During that search, detectives found marijuana, cocaine, a digital scale and a suboxone strip inside his bedroom.
Charged with several offenses, including drug trafficking, Sampson is currently being held at the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility without bond.
Sampson has served five separate sentences in Florida state prison, with his most recent release occurring in May 2025. His record includes convictions for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, robbery, felony battery, grand theft, fleeing from law enforcement and multiple drug charges.
