ORLANDO, Fla. — The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is excited to introduce a new online portal that makes it simple for organizations, schools, and community groups to invite the agency to participate in public events.
The FWC Event Portal gives event organizers one central place to request FWC speakers, educational exhibits, outreach activities and other agency resources.
Organizers can submit information about their event, including:
Date and location.
Expected audience.
Requested topics.
The type of FWC participation being requested.
After a request is submitted, FWC staff will review it based on staff availability, available resources and how well the event aligns with the agency’s mission and outreach priorities.
Organizers will receive confirmation that their request has been received and is under review. The FWC said additional notifications will be provided as the request moves through the review process.
The agency encourages organizations to submit requests as early as possible to allow time for review and coordination.
