Florida reports 107 coronavirus-related deaths, adds more than 3K new cases

ORLANDO, Fla. — Florida health officials reported 3,779 new COVID-19 cases and 107 coronavirus-related deaths statewide Sunday.

The state reported its lowest total of COVID-19 cases for the month.

Of the latest deaths, 12 were reported in Central Florida, including one in Osceola County, four in Brevard County, six in Volusia County and one in Lake County.

The state’s total death toll is now 9,587, with 9,452 of those being Florida resident deaths.

The number of COVID-19 cases in Florida now stands at 573,416 since testing began earlier this year.
