Frontier Airlines begins more nonstop flights from here

Ultra-low fare carrier Frontier Airlines announced new nonstop flights from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Mercedita International Airport in Ponce, Puerto Rico (PSE) and to San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

The service from Orlando to Ponce began today, and will be available three times a week with an $89 introductory fare. Meanwhile, the new daily nonstop flights from here to San Francisco will start May 10 with a $59 introductory fare.

These additions mean Denver-based Frontier now serves 54 nonstop destinations from Orlando.
