ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Wetherbee Elementary School was evacuated Monday morning after school officials found a natural gas leak coming from the school’s kitchen.
Orange County Fire Rescue responded to the school at 701 E. Weatherbee Road in Orlando at about 8:04 a.m.
No injuries were reported in connection with the leak.
School officials said they were able to shut off the gas and stop the leak.
No other information on the incident was immediately available.
