ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A new art exhibit featuring the work of artist Grey W. Sturgill is coming to the Orange County Multicultural Center.
Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs will host an opening reception for “Dream Doodle Cosmology” from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at the Multicultural Art Gallery on West Colonial Drive.
The county said Sturgill’s work focuses on spontaneous, freehand drawings without predetermined patterns or outcomes, allowing viewers to interpret each piece in their own way.
Sturgill has worked in several artistic disciplines, including etching, printmaking, copper relief, fiber crafts and painting.
The exhibit will remain on display through Nov. 17. Admission to the opening reception is free, but advance registration is requested.
