Health officials investigate rodent problem at Fashion Square movie theater

ORLANDO, Fla. — Premiere Cinema 14 at Fashion Square Mall is battling a possible rodent infestation inside its movie theaters, health officials said.

The Orange County Health Department confirmed to Eyewitness News Friday evening that evidence of rodent activity was found inside theaters after it received a complaint.

A check of the concession stands, however, turned up no evidence of rodents.

Health inspectors ordered the theater to increase its pest control.

A manager at Premiere Cinema 14 told Channel 9, “We are constantly taking measures to keep rodents out.”

Health authorities said they will do a follow-up inspection to make sure any problems have been addressed.
